A Day in the Life of a Computer Science Professor.

Dr. Ping Ji is a Professor of Computer Science in CUNY Graduate Center and John Jay College, and currently the Director of the Data Science Master's Program and appointed Executive Office of the Computer Science PhD program at CUNY Graduate Center. Ping's former students now occupy positions across IT companies (such as Google, Amazon), government agencies and finance industry. Ping is a strong advocate for girls for STEM education and careers, and would love to invite a KPS student (and parents) to a Computer Science department year-end event at CUNY Graduate Center, on Friday May the 10th. The KPS student will have the opportunity to explore a day in the life of a CS professor, and participate in an interesting workshop which includes more than 10 faculty short talks and graduate student project posters.

This offering open only to current KPS Upper School Students. Parents are responsible for transportation to and from the event.
